About

Welcome to Weakside Help. I used to blog at fourpointplay.weebly.com but the platform I was forced to use was more outdated than Pau Gasol’s dunking style. That is to say, extremely.

This site is dedicated to fantasy basketball and everything that makes it great. Whether that be landing the number one pick and proceeding to dominate your friends for the rest of the season or simply having a bit of fun while catching up with basketball in general.

My name is Henry and I do most things around here. There is nothing extremely unique about the site but I hope it helps or entertains in whatever way it can. In a nod to my hopes and dreams, I am expecting that it provides an escape from my real job at some distant stage in the future.

I try to keep things pretty simple, so here are the most important things about fantasy basketball.

#1: Greg Oden is the devil. Even when you think he isn’t… he is actually just very cleverly disgusied.

#2: Draft hard, draft loose. No-one likes the dude who takes the safe option. It’s boring, it’s crass, and you’ll end up with Jose Calderon and Caron Bulter running your team. And where’s the fun in that?

#3: Don’t listen to any one person. Go out there and try and find another opinion to back anything up. Fantasy Basketball is an ever growing game and there are some serious quality sites around to provide you some solid advice.

And remember to enjoy it. After all, it’s just a game.

I was wondering if you were looking for another writer to help contribute? Even for a one time piece. I would be interested, please let me know. Thanks!

Hey Scott, sorry I didn’t reply sooner, I didn’t see your comment.

No worries at all. I welcome contributions if they are relevant and at least equal to a 10 year olds English level. Hit me up an email at henry [at] weaksidehelp [dot] com.

Is this site defunct? Is this an obvious question?
